First time touching the game since a few weeks after initial release, and I really, really love that they introduced the "inner" versions of my two favourite bosses. I'm only at the second gauntlet as I haven't gotten the other ending yet but I love how the final boss of that gauntlet fucks my shit up. I can't tell of the new perilous attack at the beginning of the combo is a stab or sweep though? I'm sad there is no DLC (Tomoe~) but I'm quite happy with the free content update, I'm looking forward to unlock more stuff in the gauntlets. Did you do them? Was it challenging for you?

After a good 20-30 tries I finally had him beat, but panicked when I didn’t get the kill prompt…tried going on his side without wanting to get too close to the cliff-no go. Set up the camera to record my bad luck only to catch the actual victory when I realized I wasn’t going to fall off by getting behind him entirely.Lesson learned? I've tried to play sekiro three different times and each time I quit and frustration. After asking this community for help and watching some tips and video guides I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. I may have done this a few weeks ago, but I had to step away from even looking at the game for a hot minute afterwards haha. I'm not a gamer. I've hardly played really anything, and almost never to completion. I bought this game in 2019 and got my shit wrecked, so I put it off until this summer, where now I'm retired and have nothing but time. It took me 7 playthroughs, 240 hours, and nearly 5 years to hit plat. I'm trying to do the gauntlets now. Sekiro has become my 2nd favorite game (RE4 is always number 1) and MAN. I just love it. I bought this game back in January when it had its winter sale on xbox. I grew up on COD and other similar games, so this was only my second souls game, right after Elden Ring. To say it was hard and frustrating on my first play through would be putting it to lightly. I struggled so hard that it took me until the end of June to finish my first play through(I also deleted the game for about 2 months after dying to that shit throwing ape for the 80th time). But after hours of grueling practice and hundreds of deaths later, I feel like I’ve truly mastered this game, and nothing has made me feel more accomplished with this game than getting that final achievement(all skills unlocked). I know this game was somewhat of a side project for Miyazaki, but I wish he would take the time to make another. Elden Ring was fun but the play style of Sekiro is something I have not found an equal to as of yet. 11/10 game and I will be playing many more playthroughs to come. Took a few attempts to get to way of tomoe but man was that amazing! I only got the lightning reversal once but either way it was fantastic!
