Hey everyone, As you may know, Analogue has traditionally always had annual mid October announcements. Mostly following along with [this reddit post](https://www.reddit.com/r/AnalogueInc/comments/174th4t/what_has_analogue_announced_on_1610_historically/), their timeline has been: - [October 16th, 2023: Analogue 3D announced](https://twitter.com/analogue/status/1713933239327273452) - [October 16th, 2022: Pocket preorders, Pocket cartridge adapters, and final run of the Super Nt and Mega Sg announced](https://twitter.com/analogue/status/1581661660728950784) - [October 16th, 2021: Analogue OS announced](https://twitter.com/analogue/status/1449389698493861888) - [October 16th, 2020: Duo announced](https://twitter.com/analogue/status/1317118116678094860) - [October 16th, 2019: Pocket announced](https://twitter.com/analogue/status/1184484202772926466) - [October 16th, 2018: Mega Sg announced](https://twitter.com/analogue/status/1052212620705509376) - [October 16th, 2017: Super Nt announced](https://twitter.com/analogue/status/919941034934546432) I'm hoping to see some more news/information about the Analogue 3D, along with Pocket DAC support... πŸ₯΄ (This was also posted on [r/analogueinc](https://www.reddit.com/r/AnalogueInc/comments/1g3dpud/analogues_october_16th_history/).)

Hello, I've suddenly found that I can no longer use my Everdrive N8 Pro at all. It appears that my console, an [Nt mini Noir](https://www.analogue.co/editions/nt-mini-noir), can no longer boot up at all when this cartridge is connected. I run through it a bit more in this video I just took: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0\_gRNZsyOY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0_gRNZsyOY) But basically, here is a full rundown of the issue: * If I have my Everdrive N8 Pro plugged in to my Nt mini Noir, then my console will not boot up * If I have my Nt mini Noir in *any* other configuration, then my console will boot up Steps I've tried so far that have had no effect: * Replacing the cartridge battery * Cleaning the cartridge's contacts * Cleaning the Nt mini's cartridge contacts * Another micro SD card * No SD card Other misc details: * My Nt mini Noir console is running the latest jailbreak firmware ([v6.7](https://github.com/analoguejb/Analogue-Nt-Mini-Noir-JB/releases/tag/v6.7)) * My Everdrive N8 Pro is running its latest firmware ([v2.15](https://krikzz.com/pub/support/everdrive-n8/pro-series/OS/)) * I purchased this N8 Pro from [everdrive.me](https://everdrive.me/) in August 2020 * I have not changed any settings or gear of any kind for a very long time, so this is not a result of recent settings changes or hardware changes * Up until very recently, this N8 Pro had been working, although it was always somewhat flaky. And what I mean by "flaky" is: * The console would turn on normally, but then when I go to run the cartridge, I would get just a blank/black screen * The console would turn on normally, and would even load the Everdrive menu correctly. But the menu would have graphics errors, such as a broken/corrupt launcher menu * If either of the above issues occurred, I would just turn on console off => on again until it was fixed * I unfortunately do not have a Famicom or NES to test this cartridge against those consoles. However, sometime soon I might be able to visit a friend who does, and then I can test my N8 again there Does anyone have any thoughts? Unfortunately, it looks like my cartridge is [outside of the warranty period](https://everdrive.me/information/warranty.html) now :( Thank you! (I have also posted this on [r/everdrive](https://www.reddit.com/r/everdrive/comments/1g3dej8/my_everdrive_n8_pro_is_no_longer_working_video/) and [r/analogueinc](https://www.reddit.com/r/AnalogueInc/comments/1g3dg0e/my_everdrive_n8_pro_is_no_longer_working_video/).)

No indication about what color(s) will be available, but I'd definitely assume it to be only just black and white. Link to related Tweet: https://twitter.com/analogue/status/1775176709282668945

I don't have a Duo, but it's nice to see the continued quick updates coming. Still hoping to see DAC support for the Pocket Dock and Duo soon 😊

Looks great! Honestly I'm a bit surprised to see this, as I wasn't sure if we would, given the Duo is a pretty different console than many of Analogue's previous releases. And be sure to check out the main GitHub page itself too: https://github.com/analoguejb/Analogue-Duo-JB

Duo owners, you might want to keep a close eye on firmware releases for the next few months, it looks like there are still a good amount of fixes and things coming quickly.

Hello, While the [RetroUSB AVS](https://www.retrousb.com/product_info.php?cPath=36&products_id=78&osCsid=72d9fe678021d5d6a4720dfac2a5dc5b) is not a true 1:1 replacement for the Nt mini, it is the closest thing that is currently readily available. It has real cartridge slots, four controller ports, and an HDMI out, just like the Nt mini. With that being said, it is pretty different too. It doesn't have any analog-out functionality, and only supports 720p (no 1080p at all). But regardless it is still a great device that has been well-received. I have a friend of mine who is very happy with his 😊 So if you are in the market for this kind of device, but don't want to pay scalper Nt mini level prices, this could be a good alternative for you. Thank you! Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Hi! This looks like a 3rd party made a jail broken gaming device, which, if true is amazing! Am I wrong? Can someone here fill me in?

Looks like a really minor firmware update, with just 1 change: - Fixed periodic audio issue when using DAC It doesn't appear that there is currently an updated [Super Nt jailbreak](https://github.com/analoguejb/Analogue-Super-Nt-JB) release available.

Looks like people who ordered a Pocket before July 20th should be getting shipping information very very soon, if they haven't already. Cheers! Please enjoy your Pockets everyone 😊

I'm considering cancelling my Pocket pre-order and wonder if anyone can poke me in either direction. I only ordered at the start of this year, so I don't expect to get anything until at least the end of 2023 if not 2024. However, I went ahead and got a RG35XX since it was only £60 in these parts. And... I'm loving it. But I realise I'm especially enjoying the save states for SNES games (which the Pocket doesn't have). Since I have kids it's means I can just turn it off, deal with their shenanigans, and go back later. I already have a MiSTer, MegaSG and SuperNT. I ordered the Pocket because I have a 30 or 40 GB and GBA carts. But you know, I have a few GBs, GBAs and GBCs. So maybe the Pocket is unnecessary. Anyway, this are just rambling thoughts in my head. Convince me one way or another! 😁
