This week on Taking Stock there were some great discussions about autobuys, plan shares, and 606 Reports which allow for investors to access bulk trading data of which their orders are included. However, there were some internet issues and technical difficulties during the call - we've tried to fix as much of this in editing as possible for the mp3 download. This weeks Taking Stock was really incredible. I'd highly recommend checking out the conversation with our hugely knowledgeable guest Peruvian Bull, which ranged from the beginnings of the DRS online movement to the birds eye and macro view on these wild economic time. Peruvian Bull has strong skill in breaking down complex concepts and providing key context to help understand each example, and we'll look forward to speaking with him again in the future. There's a ton of information packed into this show, and I can't do it justice here. Check it out! This week on Taking Stock, we started off with a recap of some recent project and website updates from the DRS team including the WhyDRS Database and the GiveAshare spotlight page. After that, we welcomed Kevin Malone, CEO of [Malone Wealth Ventures](https://www.malonewealth.com/), a registered investment adviser. In the wake of Apex and Mainstar, Kevin has been investigating an alternative to potentially help clients direct register their shares without exposure to shaky custodians. Kevin talks about his experience so far with [SEI](https://www.seic.com/), who may offer a service for registered investment advisers to maintain client assets in a segregated account and in their own names. The episode is closed with a group discussion about recent SEC and FINRA bulletins which introduce new and more explicit language about direct registration and about the distinction between plan designated holdings and book designated holdings.
