Companies will charge what the market will bear. If Netflix increases prices and lowers quality and people keep paying the higher price for lower quality, then Netflix will keep doing it. It's up to consumers to not pay for enshittification in order to stop it.

For those hiring they have to go through all the applicants, interviews, etc, but all the applicants are going through the same thing: applying to jobs whose descriptions do not match reality, interviews with people who already do not intend to hire them, pay rates not listed or misleading...

Just because Capitalism is the best we've come up with so far doesn't mean we should just accept it, or that 1000 years from now people won't look at the Capitalism with the same disdain we look at Feudalism.

I agree, but the reason for all the AI hate is companies pushing LLMs, calling them AIs, and treating them like some miracle that is worth all the energy they consume. If we try to differentiate between LLMs and AI then the AI hate will go away.
