Statement from President Joe Biden on the Death of Yahya Sinwar
  • Kolibri Kolibri 3d ago 100%

This is reminding me of a few years ago when this ghoul claimed to have struck at isis-k when really, the u.s killed an aid worker and his family. Just the blatant lying. Yahya Sinwar will be remembered as a hero, and history will remember him as one, not what this ghoul claims he was.

  • Kolibri Kolibri 2w ago 100%

meow-hug I have heard that, and it is pretty evil that they do that. Especially since like. Going to last year, when this happen, my mom hardly could walk, yet they still thought she could work? She needed a walker and she couldn't go far due to her workplace pretty much hurting her back. She couldn't even drive anymore or go to the store. Along with carrying an oxygen tank due to another medical conditions of hers. How could they still think she could still work and not need disability?

I hate this country, this reminded me of last year before my mom died. when she got injured from her workplace, she tried to apply for disability and got denied. and she was worried of going homeless from all her medical bills. she was thinking of getting a disability lawyer to help with this, but her health ended up declining very fast before she could get to that

I think Doubledee explained it well but I'll add my own thoughts to. If I understand your example right.

Interest, therefore, becomes firmly established in a way that it no longer appears as a division of gross profit of indifference to production, which occurs occasionally when the industrial capitalist happens to operate with someone else's capital. His profit splits into interest and profit of enterprise even when he operates on his own capital. A merely quantitative division thus turns into a qualitative one. It occurs regardless of the fortuitous circumstance whether the industrial capitalist is, or is not, the owner of his capital. It is not only a matter of different quotas of profit assigned to different persons, but two different categories of profit which are differently related to the capital, hence related to different aspects of the capital.

    Vol 3 Chapter 23

I cite that because as you said, 5% of that goes back to the lender and over time that will repay the original money capitalist. Or that portion for the money capitalist. It just a manner of proportions in regards to that surplus value or profit to who gets what of that total surplus value produced.

The industrial capitalist preserve his 120 capital like he would if the money capitalist never came along. Since Marx mentions in a few others chapters, one of the goals of labor power is not to just produce surplus value, but also to recreate/preserve the already existing value. So that 120 capital is recreated back into the new commodities made along with surplus value. And that is still the same even when the money capitalist comes along. And when the money capitalist does come along, it just a matter of proportion for the profits or the total surplus value that was produced, they each get. Nothing to do with the preservation of the already existing capital value. And the constant capital does depreciate.

To cite something way back from Vol 1, chapter 8

[...]He is unable to add new labour, to create new value, without at the same time preserving old values, and this, because the labour he adds must be of a specific useful kind; and he cannot do work of a useful kind, without employing products as the means of production of a new product, and thereby transferring their value to the new product. The property therefore which labour-power in action, living labour, possesses of preserving value, at the same time that it adds it, is a gift of Nature which costs the labourer nothing, but which is very advantageous to the capitalist inasmuch as it preserves the existing value of his capital. [4] So long as trade is good, the capitalist is too much absorbed in money-grubbing to take notice of this gratuitous gift of labour. A violent interruption of the labour-process by a crisis, makes him sensitively aware of it

Chapter 25 was really interesting, some of it reminded me of MMT from Hudson a little? Also it interesting Marx saying this

[...]Generally speaking, this aspect of the banking business consists of concentrating large amounts of the loanable money-capital in the bankers' hands, so that, in place of the individual money-lender, the bankers confront the industrial capitalists and commercial capitalists as representatives of all moneylenders. They become the general managers of money-capital. On the other hand by borrowing for the entire world of commerce, they concentrate all the borrowers vis-à-vis all the lenders. A bank represents a centralisation of money-capital, of the lenders, on the one hand, and on the other a centralisation of the borrowers.[...]

and in today time that seems very centralized all over the world now days due to the united states being a global reserve currency, for all capitalists of the world?

The rest will go on to achieve their goals."

I just wanted to add onto what you said, there was also this from like two weeks ago or whenever, but this more so related to Iraq however

Sayyed Al-Shuhada Brigades chief: Several resistance fronts ready to execute joint operations against Israel, allies https://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2024/09/13/733175/‘Several-resistance-fronts-ready-to-execute-operations-against-Israel,-allies

    and some highlights from it

A high-ranking Iraqi resistance official says there will be a new phase with coordination between several Islamic resistance fronts for executing operations against Israel and its allies.

He noted that the second stage of military operations was bombing within the occupied territories, and then the third stage moved towards joint operations with Yemen.

“The joint operations between Yemen and Iraq were astonishing for the enemy, and they expressed concern,” he said.

The official said that the resistance officials “are moving toward a fourth stage, which involves coordinating actions across multiple fronts and conducting joint operations in more than one area.”

“There will be a new phase with coordination between several fronts for executing operations,” he stated.

“In the coming days, we will witness joint military operations,” he revealed.

::: spoiler venting about things like one of my animals dying, cw: alcoholism, grief related stuff and death I'm really tired. So last week my dog died, and it has been very upsetting. It really feels unbelievable with how much bad stuff keeps happening since it seems like im cursed or something. Like last year with my mom dying. Then my dad slowly drinking himself to death or one of my siblings s.o threatening my dad months ago, again. and now my dog dead. And it hurts. Since my dog was like, really important to me and he helped keep me stable. And now he is gone.

My brother's dog is feeling it to, since they were close. And it just hurts. I got his ashes not too long ago so that nice. I have his collar and his old puppy collar on it with it.

Besides that. Last friday me and my dad went to get groceries. When we got back, and bringing in groceries, after that was over with. His arm looked swollen, and since like his drinking just keeps hurting his health. for the last few months blood has been pooling under his arms. anyways, like, after the grocery stuff, his arm was bleeding from that, and it looked swollen. and his arms just lately have like these blood marks all over

    just fuck, I dunno. I don't know anymore. :::

I want to to prose a rule for no defeatism? and also for "nothing ever happens" stuff? I dunno how to word that properly for the best so if someone knows how to word it better? but it is really annoying seeing others saying nothing ever happens, when things are always happening, and trivializing things as if all of this is entertainment. Then there the defeatist side of stuff to where I understand the grief that comes from these things, but to say everything is all over isn't right. It's also very disrespectful to, like for example, towards everything the axis of resistance has done

[Web Archive link](https://web.archive.org/save/https%3A%2F%2Fwww.globaltimes.cn%2Fspecial-coverage%2FLetters-from-Xi%2Findex.html) if the one above doesn't work or something. I hope this is the right place for this. I was reading some stuff and I saw this, and it's a neat index containing like. I'll just quote the front page >Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Chinese president, has managed to find time to reply to some letters from different parts of society and the world despite his busy work schedule. >Through his letters, Xi has corresponded with people from all walks of life on numerous occasions, part of a series of excellent China stories in the new era. >**The Global Times traced and contacted some of the recipients of Xi's letters, to hear the inspiring stories behind the letters and their communications with the Chinese president.** But there quite a few in this index and some are really neat. I found this really cute >One of their gifts to Xi upon their arrival in Beijing was a school flag of Muscatine High School with the words "Grandpa Xi, Here We Are" written in Chinese. also just wanted to highlight this from the same article that was in. >"While in China, I've never felt safer and did not view the country as it can sometimes be portrayed in American media," Stoneking said. both from this one - [Xi's letter strengthens decades-long friendship with Muscatine residents, boosts China-US youth exchanges ](https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202403/1308868.shtml)
