greetings americans, it an honest question. Outside of america i constantly see, especially recently as your elections are coming up that..well, it looks like a clownshow? Your recent two contenders where a hugely dept orange clown who can barely keep a coherent thought advertising a product in the whitehows, who had to have his name constantly mention when being talked to or he will be disinterested. The other one was a senile old fossil who couldnt even say a single sentence without his dementia kicking in. Now you have trump again as a runner up and he seems so openly incompetently corrupt its almost funny, than we have the senile man who (to my extremely limited knowledge) got replaced by this kamala woman because he was too old, said woman seems to be at least present in mind and appears to see trump as what he really is, a manchild (the famous clip of her basically laguhing at him) Like, are outside views are just so vehemently skewed by news, people and the like? Or am i just grossly misinformed?

I had a server with a respectable size.
Did a hard cutoff due to some stupid discord thing.
I managed to get a total of 50 people of about 3k to switch and out of those like 7 actually stayed.
Yet I had to get a burner account again to get in touch with certain people.

Here is a problem i never had on linux but i started getting on windows. Some games say they are unable to sync (seemingly random), when i start a game the save does seem to have downloaded, but i cant sync it as it is right now, even doing so manually keeps throwing the same error 
Honestly has me upset enough that im starting to set up a super old youtube setup i once had years ago in the before times i just might rawdog youtube directly again old player also had the progress bar visible even when not focused, not anymore over a years worth of work and we ended up with what looks like a mobile ui  
Ill keep it as short as possible, apologies if i keep rambling(ill put my specs at the bottom) Over the last yew years, i have used quite a lot of distros, from mint (currently my main again), to manjaro to solus to endeavouros and more i cant remember, one thing they all (minus solus) had in commong (for me) was the fact that pc gaming...was horrible on them. Many hours where spend getting different games to work, or rather trying to get them to work at all, most of them had failed, steam, lutris, default wine, no matter what has been used) As an example: Anno 1404 history edition (best anno, fite me), i bought it on steam, tried launching it, didnt work, tried several proton versions, didnt work, lutris, didnt work, i downloaded a crack to see, didnt work either, using a different file format, nothing. Sometimes i was able to make it work, once and than never again, solus was the only one where anno 1404 worked out of the box, i managed to make it work in endeavouros once by installing two packages i could never find again. (most recently, i bought space marine 2, didnt work and keeps crashing no matter what i do9 But this was the best case scenario, games really work. Is it just my hardware? Am i using linux just wrongly for years? Is it my fault? Am i missing something? The reason this outlet is open was because my washing machine was connected directly to it. I was advised to close it up by the people who took my old washing machine away. However i dont think i can wait until my friend has time to look at this. I likely cant turn the power on on the outlet at all right now i assume, how can i make sure myself that i can safely turn the power back on? electricity varies wildly in countries, im from austria if that helps. Edit: a friend of mine who does some electrician work as part of his job (building pools) corroborated several of your comments (the only exposed cable is the grounding one and he offered to cover it up further at a later point after i put some tape on it) thank you all for your answers and putting me at ease
