They shouldn't ban TikTok in America

I don't think they should ban it either, but for what I've seen, they should better moderate some of the viral challenges or "life hacks" that end up with children injured or dead. I know some of the onus falls on the parents, but TikTok doesn't seem to care at all

I get where you're coming from and agree with you, but is there a good alternative to Duolingo that's comparable and respects their users?

  • Mojo Mojo 8mo ago 100%

Yeah ok sure, either way it still sounds petty to me.

Also, you can just say you don't know the answers to my questions it's fine, I'm not really surprised.

Um, speak for yourself, I didn't choose anything.

However, you dodged my point. Do you honestly think a "loving God" should torture his creations for eternity for not worshipping him? That doesn't sound evil to you? Also, are the people from other cultures that were around before Christianity in hell?

  • What media sources have you outgrown, when, and why?

    Gaming consoles for me.

When the PS4 came out, I couldn't justify spending that much for a device that doesn't have the amount of utility as a PC, nor are the games retro compatible. I'm a PC gaming convert.

I find it problematic that you say it's a death we deserve. God is all like, "worship me or be tortured forever!" That's kinda toxic to be honest, and doesn't sound like love to me.

No, not at the time it was made, but the modern LGBTQIA+ lexicon has moved on from it

Fun fact: On Drag Race, Ru used to give messages to the contestants and called it "She-mail", but they (reluctantly) stopped calling it that due to heavy viewer criticism

Edit: I should have also said the "She-mail" thing was heavily criticized by former contestants as well, which was probably an additional factor that made the show change the name

A drag queen is an entertainer and drag is an art form. Some are cis men, some are trans women, some are trans men, some are non-binary people and some are cis women. The vast majority are queer, but some are straight people do drag too. So basically anyone can do drag, but the majority are queer cis men.

Also transvestite is an archaic term and is mostly offensive/derogatory.

  • I'm not sure if this is unpopular per se, but yeah, I don't think people on here are voting in a consistent way and that makes it confusing to know which posts are actually unpopular opinions. I have seen people say something like "nice unpopular opinion, take my upvote", but the votes don't reflect that sentiment when a truly unpopular opinion is posted and it's heavily downvoted. Also, in reverse, posts that appear to be agreed-upon popular opinions are massively upvoted. I think a good number of people on here downvote opinions they don't agree with, which is a reflex I can empathize with, but doing that might discourage people to post here. So, I think people should upvoting posts you don't agree with. And I think that it should be posted clearly for people to read and refer to in the about section of the community. I think maybe it should be a pinned post too (at least for a little while) because I don't think everyone reads the about sections. **TL;DR** — For the sake of clarity, there should be a posted rule that basically states: upvotes mean you don't agree with the opinion and downvotes mean you agree. **So, if you agree with this post please downvote it.**
