So now that you've got your Y problem solved, what was the X problem that led you to trying to remember the phrase? Or did you solve that part, but still had that nagging question in the back of your mind?

Not how they meant it, but letting anyone so incompetent near a French fryer is yes, dangerous.

Any burglars in her vicinity would be taken out by the Secret Service. But if her husband was home alone, he might have to defend himself. See: Mr. Pelosi

Feed that skinny old kitty! Treat yourself, treat your cat.
Some proper kitty food, no garlic or onion like those wings probably have on them.
Oldies need a little cushion so they don't starve if they get one of the conditions which interfere with eating. Not so much it's hard to haul their weight around, but something between skin and bone.

Okay but now I'm imagining I can jump like a cat, and having too much fun to bother with any silly grates.

You're right, but that's a nothing hop for a kitty. Cats utilize vertical space more than we do usually. It's one reason they get more exercise indoors than dogs can. Unless she's disabled, in which case by all means accommodate.

Oh no! I liked your pigeon post. I'm raising mourning doves on my balcony... Actually I'm just throwing out hulled sunflower seeds every morning, but the family that eats them is up to 12 members now. Maybe not for long, because a young redtailed hawk has joined the neighborhood, and last night we heard a great horned owl for the first time ever.

Glad she's safe, warm, and fed, and you're getting her vet-checked. There may be foster agencies in your area that can help you continue to keep her out of a shelter until her owners are found or she's adopted.

Ah, but you're forgetting, there's a population of 200 TNR cats at Disneyland! Oh wait, I'm not sure if DisneyWorld has cats too. In California, cats have been there longer than Sleeping Beauty's Castle.

I would hope that you learned something from your error, but this comment shows clearly you haven't. I learned it when I voted for John Anderson and in my tiny way contributed to Reagan winning: in America, you vote to keep the worst fascist out of power, and if it means voting for someone who isn't perfect but has the numbers to do it, that's who you vote for. The primary may be your opportunity to show support for other parties, and you can go to rallies and spread the good word to influence the discussion, but until the day your third party candidate has enough potential votes to actually win it, you help hold the wall.

Seems to me, calling the GOP the Right Wing contributes to their delusions of grandeur and self-righteousness. The fact it's only supposed to be "sitting on the right-hand side of the room" is lost in deliberate ignorance. Looking for a more accurate label. If you don't like these two choices you're welcome to ring in with your suggestions. Since other countries have their own versions of a Right Wing, ranging from something equivalent to the US Democratic Party to full-on fascism, y'all are welcome to weigh in on those as well.
