Are you drawing the line of what is acceptable to protest between protesting for an end to genocide and protesting for the rights of Palestinians to govern themselves, rather than be at the bottom of the hierarchy in an apartheid government?

Idk what genres you like so here’s a few recommendations across a few genres. On phone so no links.

I’ve been obsessing over Hiræth lately, probably one of the best albums I have ever heard. It’s not a metal album, but it scratches that itch I have for metal, so it’s going on this list lol

    • Witching - Vernal (blackened sludge)
    • Flummox - Rephlummoxed (prog death/avant garde)
    • Mamaleek - Vida Blue (avant garde)
    • Rail Yard Ghosts - Hiræth (Blackgrass/Blackened folk punk, large band)
    • Woe - Hope Attrition (black metal/RABM)
    • Botanist - Paleobotany (Experimental Black metal)
    • An Abstract Illusion - Woe (prog death)

I know this is an old comment, but this bandana is sold by PM Press for no profit. Instead, all proceeds after cost go to Palestine Legal, which provides legal aid to those trying to support Palestine.

I mean, that is a definition of rights.

Rights that can be instantly taken away mean almost nothing. What good is my right to do something, such as be queer, when a bunch of cishet people can just say “alright, now you can’t exercise your right to be enby or trans or otherwise gender non-conforming, or be in a non-heteronormative relationship because a large enough portion of bigots decided you can’t.”

Those rights don’t mean shit unless they can’t be taken away. If they can, they are little more than privileges granted to us from cishet people because they felt bad for being oppressive.

I haven’t tried the seatbelt cutter on the knife, and i don’t even keep that knife near me.

I’m willing to bet that the seatbelt cutter can’t be as bad as the blade is, and that piece of shit can’t hold a sharpened edge. Though that bar is on the floor. But if it is somehow worse, i wouldn’t be too surprised.

That looks like a knife that came with the cheap walmart-brand survival kit that I bought to keep in my car.

It is horrible. Worst knife I have ever bought.

But it does have the seatbelt cutter and the glass breaker just like the one here. I think you can get it for a few bucks separately from the kit.

My friend went to ireland with some of his mates from uni, and one of them ordered an irish car bomb on the first night. The bartender was cool with it and asked if they serve “school shooters” in the states.

They were all incredulous, and the bartender comes back with the car bomb. He later comes back apologizing profusely because he thought he crossed the line, but they told him it was fine they were just caught completely off guard by that.

They went to that bar many more times.

I made a gunslinging armorer artificer kobold that wore a mech suit, allowing her to wield a gun. When I shot the gun outside the suit, she would comically get pushed backwards.

    Very fun character.

    That’s a strawman.

It’s a lot harder to imagine a world governed by non-hierarchical structures than it is to imagine one more similar to the current one, infested with hierarchical structures.

And it’s easy to see anarchists as simply destructive since we love to talk about tearing down these oppressive structures, but people (and some anarchists) tend to forget that anarchism is also about building new systems. Some people tend to operate in the break shit then build shit mindset, but a lot of modern theory is about building the new in the shell of the old as a revolutionary act.

Plus, anarchism is not the “opposition of control structures” it is the opposition of hierarchical structures, which is different.

The Zapatistas are an anarchistic group that have existed since the 90s. While not “pure anarchism,” something they never sought out to do (they follow Zapatismo, their own ideology), they are very anarchistic in structure. And to think that a system that currently exists is impossible is just silly.

I remembered about 60% and I knew the general format of the password. It was about 30-40 characters in length so it was far from short. I couldn’t remember one of the words, the numbers, or the symbols, nor could I remember the order of the numbers and symbols since I diverted from the pattern I used to use due to the significance of the password.

I made a custom dictionary, and used john with a custom generator to make it fit the possible format of my password so that is why it was so fast. Had I not done that, it probably would have been feasible. It was also an older less secure luks partition so that helped a ton, and the fact I had a mediocre gpu (2070max-q) was the icing on the cake.

I intentionally keep no copies of my encrypted drive passwords so I was fucked if I couldn’t remember the password.

I heavily contemplated got to planning suicide 10 years ago, and did so again roughly a year ago. Ten years ago i was a coward, and last year I called a friend while at the bottom of the pit, and he helped me get out.

This comic hit me like a truck, holy fucking shit. I think I never fully processed those emotions, but man, I remember that pain now, it feels so raw.

I’ve recovered now, but this comic reminds me of rock bottom. 11/10 depressing comic, this ruined my morning.

I wish I could shop at a unionized store or a worker-owned place but none exist near me for groceries.

I loved shopping at 2 am. It was basically me, nighttime truckers, and people who worked weird shifts stopping by after work. When I shop in the day the aisles are congested and shelves occasionally need a restock, and checkout lines out take forever (looking at you costco)

    Hell yeah

This is like the time I forgot the password to my LUKS drive and started brute forcing it using john and a custom password generation function.

I didn’t get nearly as lucky as you, it took around 18 hours, but I got in. Which was lucky since that luks drive had the sole 512 byte key to my long-term storage drive that had important paperwork on it.

    > Oh Rascal Children of Gaza > by Khaled Juma > > Oh rascal children of Gaza. > You who consistently disturbed me > with your screams under my window. > You who filled every morning > with rush and chaos. > You who broke my vase > and stole my lonely flower from my balcony. > Come back, > and scream as you want > and break all the vases. > Steal all the flowers. > Come back.. > Just come back.. After reading this poem for the first time, it broke me. I broke down in tears, and an hour later as I went to post this and typed the transcription, I cried again as I got to the last few lines. Although this poem was written in 2014, I feel that it is just as impactful now as it was a decade ago.
