I'd bet anyone who has ever them would agree with you.

The next tenant after you might not be so handy. It would be easier for the average person just to change a bulb if they needed to. I'd go with the fixture that uses replaceable LED bulbs.

Yes. You can go back to stock.

Making a proper (?) French omelette. Watched Julia Child do it on TV. Changed my Sunday morning breakfast game big time. Beat two eggs. Heat a 10" non stick pan over medium heat. Throw in a tbsp of butter. When the butter bubbles up, the pan is hot enough. Dump in the eggs. Shake the pan over the flame to move the eggs around. I also use a set of chopsticks to help stir it up good. The eggs set in about a minute or so. Once set, I use a spatula to flip (roll) the egg from the edge of the pan, 2 times. Then plate. Watching a video of her doing it probably makes more sense than my description. Multiple new techniques for me. It's fast. They are light. Everyone likes them.
I installed Cosmic on my current system following steps here.. [https://github.com/pop-os/cosmic-epoch?tab=readme-ov-file#installing-on-pop_os](https://github.com/pop-os/cosmic-epoch?tab=readme-ov-file#installing-on-pop_os) BUT, I was reading somewhere else also, and that post said to not enable the Cosmic login screen, because it was buggy. So I didn't. I CAN NOT find that post, and i can't figure out what the *(!@&^%# I did. I want to know HOW to enable the Cosmic login screen. I believe I edited some config file.. don't know what... HELP please. Thanks!

I looked into this a few months ago. I'm just a user, not a programmer. My conclusion was No. I didn't find any available way to make a widget. I'd love it if there was, though. Will be watching this thread.

Activity Manager
I've used it to launch certain parts of apps. Doesn't always do what I want. And you have to sift through a lot of useless stuff. But it works.

On F-Droid also

GrapheneOS is very simple to install on any supported Pixel device. You definitely don't need a third party installing the operating system for you.

Side question... Do you know if that coax-seal is similar/better to 3m splice tape or just standard rubber splice tape?

I use it on and off. I get annoyed that the swiping constantly gives the wrong words.
I know nothing about all this licensing stuff. Way over my head... But, is it possible that "futo" is using us to train their software, then when it's working great, change it to a paid app?

You really should ask this in
http://discuss.grapheneos.org/
https://lemmy.ml/c/grapheneos.
It's a very helpful community. Someone will either explain why or point you to a FAQ. I bet it has something to do with the built in reader being insecure.
Edited... I totally gave the wrong url. Sorry. Corrected.

I have been doing passive research on proton to maybe make a switch... I agree with you. At this point, i think I'd rather have my required services with multiple/different providers and use syncthing in-house whenever possible.
Anyone have experience and an opinion on a solid wireless dongle brand? I'm leaning towards the Motorola one just because of the name and decent reviews.
