If all discernable heat is unobservable and unobtainable, then semantics don't matter. Everything still dies. I'd include "heat" in that mix, but that's waxing philosophical

He said $30,000 for the cybertruck too. $30,000 just seems to be his "I don't really know the price" price.

Systemic regression of education priority + non-stop conspiratorial propaganda. I was born and grew up in the US and have seen the shift first-hand.
At least what you're seeing here is still just a very loud minority.

The sad thing is there are actual people out there who would believe this sooner than they'd see climate change as the cause.

That's the plan though, right? GOP Politicians want to convince people that everything good for them is bad so they can make their rich friends richer.

With this movie, Am I Racist?, and Reagan all playing at the same time, the GOP is really going full-throttle in attempting to exploit their base.

I'm pretty sure nobody loves cheap Chinese goods. It's more people love to be able to afford eating, having a roof over their head, and maybe some shitty, but cheap, headphones.

First of all, you make a great point.
Second of all, that quote made me laugh out loud. "In 15 words"? Why is that even there? I saw Sam sitting there with Word open, cursor blinking at the end of his sentence about how deep learning worked, wondering how to make it more impactful. So he copies the sentence and pastes it into a chatgpt box and asks, "how can I make this hit differently?" and chatgpt, in all it's gptness, responds: "try counting the number of words in the sentence and throwing that in front."

Okay, I might be oversimplifying a bit here, but is the speaker of the house escalating global tensions simply because he wasn't invited to a party?

Control, plain and simple. GOP as a whole only has one goal: power by any means, and a controlled populace is a disempowered populace.

The same Elon Musk who asked why no one is trying to assassinate Harris/Biden? Maybe using your huge platform to become a national security threat should result in sanctions.
Hey all, I made a [Firefox extension](https://github.com/ninjanerdbgm/firefox-extensions) (signed by Mozilla) specifically to add Show/Hide Child Comments functionality similar to how RES had it (where the parent comment is still visible). It's not very useful, but I could use some feedback on tightening up the Javascript. I'm not a JS beginner, but I know I can do better, so any tips are welcome! EDIT: Also, if anyone has any suggestions for the extension, I'm open to those as well.
Installed yesterday and immediately went ad-free. It's such a beautiful app. Anyway, question is in the title.
1) Thoughts are energy. 2) Einstein proved that energy is mass. 3) Expend mass every time you think about stuff in the shower.
I'm new myself but took the time to learn the platform. I'm not sure other people will have as much of an interest, so I'm just wondering if it would be a good idea for some of the old hat people to post some tips for people coming over from reddit.
