If I'm not mistaken they also run other software too? I just can't think of what else. Definitely both Lemmy and Mastodon. Pretty cool really.

It's not a perfect solution but smart drive works really well for me. It's very customizable.

Mine is also manual, with a push assist(smart drive) its MSRP is 16k!
The software is also really stupid, you have to use a stupid smart watch to control it! You can get other controls(for some functions only) but they didn't come with the chair without additional costs. The smart watch sucks and my better watch which is also WearOS can't download the app from the store for some reason... I'd much rather be able to just connect my phone directly.

Besides piracy, you can also find modded versions of apps, they basically unlock all pro features and often add more. I know I have a Spotify app, but it's really old. Still works though.

To add to this, a new car in 1938 was $860 according to this, but essential information was left out. What that actually converted to in today's money $18,709.33 which is a lot less than what I'm paying today but only by about half. I don't disagree with wanting to get back to this point or better. But the picture seems to assume the reader already knows this?

That's quite interesting in an awful way. Do you remember any details like the name of the documentary or of who did that?

Also Summit for Lemmy can do this too.

Was windows XP the current windows generation or did you pick it for some other reason? I assume it'll run easier on weak hardware, and until just now never thought about putting it on my laptop as a dual boot for those moments you actually need windows.

I don't know about this specifically, but in my experience with Mint, it's very plug and play with this kind of stuff. I'm always really impressed by just how little setup Mint needs.

Exciting! I appreciate you and the work you have done with Summit. It's the best Lemmy client and I love that it is open source.
On some apps like Sync, you can see the up vote percentage. I find that is more insightful than the combined number.

Looking at you Roku... they're at the top of my list for some reason. I have two TVs.

What's the advantage of self hosting Matrix?
For example, I prefer to use a VPN instead of port forwarding. And I use SSH for anything I used to use an FTP for.

I'd guess here, but I'm not sure either really. I guess I didn't really think about that.
Some apps have up vote percentage indicated somewhere on posts. I was wondering if that's possible with Summit.

Thanks! Summit is such a feature rich app!
Is it possible to show actual votes rather than just scores?

That makes sense. Thanks for looking into it anyway.

I couldn't stress enough that you absolutely should not! Consider looking on YouTube as well.
Their favorite tactic is probably love bombing. We were thoroughly instructed on how to make potential new members feel "welcomed" there are literally mandatory "mid-week" meetings that they used to call the school. It is, literally a school to teach you how to manipulate people into joining. They literally teach you how much of the "truth" they should reveal to new recruits without scaring them off. I guess people are scared off when they know the "truth" which is basically an endless web of lies to try and validate and justify the endless harm they cause people. Mostly by manipulation and "disfellowshipment." They won't let you get higher education except when they need it themselves (they paid for some people to go to school and become lawyers to defend them.) And you can't marry anyone who's not baptized through their organization. Things like this should really rase red flags for people.

That would be awesome! You're doing a good job. This app is certainly the best. It's very smooth and highly efficient. There is pretty much every feature I've wanted. Especially the multis. That's all I really missed from Reddit.

The things they do now are way more crazy than when I left some years ago. They're a very dangerous organization. They thoroughly manipulate you. Not to mention that they're bleeding money from legal problems mostly related to systemic defence and concealment of a whole lot rape, mostly children.
If anyone reading this is considering joining the JWs first look into these allegations. It's a very real and serious problem.

Thanks for responding! I have a few different accounts, they mod different communities. That's pretty much it. So yeah, comments, and mod actions.

Modern cell phones. It's crazy that I basically never need a computer now. My phone is so diversely useful. I spend more money on phones than computers now. It's also the best camera I've ever had! Phones are just so cool lol.

I'm completely out of the loop.
I like to keep backups of stuff like this in case I end up switching phones.
I have a Galaxy S20 on Android 13.
I'm using large list with full hight images. If there was even just a little link icon in the corner that would help a lot.
It's the one thing I miss from Reddit. Edit: I'm on Android.
I know a lot of people are doing it and I've done it with Sync, but I don't see a way to add a picture to a comment at all on Thunder.
