Yeah, but RSA has been considered insecure for a while now because this attack was theorized.
Still, I'm sure there is a lot of RSA encryption out there through hardware keys and ssl certs and such...

Yes, but also it's not looking good because theoretically this exploit could be applied over more bits with access to more qubits right? So it is only a matter of someone getting their hands on enough quantum computing cores.
But it was already theorized that this could happen, RSA had been considered unsuitable for a while now.

Oh, I hear ya dude. The emperor isn't naked until he is in jail. But more important than anything - it feels bad to loose like this. The whole point of pretending is that you get to feel "strong" and like you are "owning the libs" or whatever. Now, it's like, what's the point? They just want to lose again, and get made fun of.

This time they know, there is no pretending.

Kind of amazing to hear Israel or the US described as a belligerent in this conflict, given the events of October 7th. It's pretty plain that publishing propaganda like this is the aim of Al Jazeera.
Leftists see a legitimate opportunity to call out legitimate human rights abuses and horrible genocide being perpetrated by a right wing movement, but just calling it out isn't enough. Instead, the heinous action of terrorists have to be justified as the fulfillment of a historical materialism narrative that is of itself rooted in defending a colonialist Arab empire that committed it's own fair share of genocide.
Israel-Palestine truly is the place where western politics goes to die. A problem that remains unsolvable because of everyone's refusal to abandon their own ideological biases. So the region just devolves into two groups slaughtering each other. Going to lose some internet points for this take, but leftism won't save us.

You can label it as a trendy new tech term, but it is the age old yes-manism that I have watched eat up tech executives and CEOs that I have worked with.

The real work of software engineering isn't the coding. That is like saying that being a doctor is all about reading health charts. Planning, designing, testing and maintaining software is the hard part, and it is often much more political than it is a technical challenge. I'm not worried about getting replaced by AI. In fact, LLMs ability to generate high volumes of code only makes the skills to understand it to be more in demand.

Should probably just filter them out by default, and then have a sort by funny or something.

That's only when it comes to advertising and messaging. Once you start bringing up actual government processes like registering to vote and polling location information it gets interesting. Lying about the voter registration process for instance, which this seems close to.

Game mode doesn't have a browser. I would be interested to find out of the steamdeck sales almost directly correlate to this increase. Not that I am complaining, it's a great way to use a linux desktop experience. I didn't really read how these numbers were measured.
The other explanation I could think of is that linux desktop is being adopted widely in India. I don't think that government's adopting linux desktop accounts for a significant portion of the machines.

Are steamdecks getting counted in this?

That also helps linux. Tried watching something on someone else's peacock account logged into Linux, and got an error. Checked Google to see if it was available. A free site had it, in better quality streaming too! We ended up using her computer, but I was kind of amazed.

What are you talking about? I can't find anything to back this up, but I am curious. Their about page claims they are funded by patreon donations, and doesn't mention cloudflare anywhere.
Is it just that they use cloudflare services for traffic control, or they host on cloudflare? Especially if it is the former, that is pretty inane.

Isn't the main issue not so much what they will show, but what gets monetized or not? There is always going to be a disconnect with this stuff because twitch wants the content that goes viral to be advertiser friendly.

Antenna pod is great. I switched to it from google podcasts a couple months ago figuring this would happen.
Zach gets me everything with this one. I think it could go all the way in the soundbite bracket.
