My wedding party is so sweet and pretty much down for whatever I choose. I still want something cohesive so we'll probably get some dresses from Azazie once I settle on colors!

I'm used to Pimm's Cups having cucumber, mint, and a couple kinds of fruit, but the bartending service we're looking at only provides some basic garnishes. I'm not sure if we'd have to provide the rest ourselves, and I definitely don't want to be prepping a bunch of fruit right before my wedding XD

We got our cake tasting box today! We're going with amaretto (close enough to almond haha) with raspberry filling. It was delicious.
Hello Lemmy Weddings! When I started this community I made a low effort drawing of a lemming in a veil to use as an icon, and now that we've grown to almost 3 dozen subscribers I think we should put something a little nicer in place for our icon and banner! Actual image submissions are welcome, as are ideas (I have some digital art ability and can whip something up if needed).
Next up on my list is picking bridesmaid dresses. I really like the idea of mismatched colors but I'm even starting to lean towards mismatched patterns! I'm not sure if it would look odd in a small bridal party of 3 women and 1 man though, so I'm going back and forth.
For a while the idea of going to New Zealand for a honeymoon was stuck in my head (in part because fiancé and I really like Lord of the Rings), but I think flying there from the US right after a wedding would be miserable for me. So instead we're playing it easy and going to Disney! It'll also be my first time ever going there :3
I’ve always enjoyed these but I’ve seen them at every recent wedding I’ve been to and I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth having one. Have they gotten old in anyone’s opinion?

When I ran out of Owl House I watched Amphibia! It has a less serious vibe but does have some sweet moments and a great overarching story.
Pimm’s Cups are special to my fiancé and I but we’re trying to figure out if we can make it work as a signature cocktail given all the garnishes! I think if we pare it down to just a cucumber slice or mint sprig that it’ll be doable.
Making my mood board was a super fun exercise in visualizing what I want for my wedding! Definitely helps with making decisions on smaller details

Thank you so much! I'm really excited to try the almond, wedding white, and yellow cake! My fiancé on the other hand is a chocolate person so we'll probably need two layers for our little cutting cake haha.
