Battlebots
BattleBots Fall FaceOff will run September through December and serve as the pre-qualifying for Championship VIII. Streaming on YouTube only.
An interesting perspective riding onboard with Vulcan Camera Bot: ![](https://lemm.ee/api/v3/image_proxy?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsh.itjust.works%2Fpictrs%2Fimage%2F33936fc1-d11d-4351-a750-4e6f20b8dff4.jpeg)
Gotta love a good three way spinner fight
Aren Hill (BB: Tantrum, Blip) makes his NHRL Beetleweight debut against Joey Gannon (BB: Magnitude) Blink and you'll miss it!
This is [Overhaul's](https://battlebots.fandom.com/wiki/Overhaul) debut fight! [Lockjaw's](https://battlebots.fandom.com/wiki/Lock-Jaw) original configuration is pretty unique as well
Fon Davis competed with [Mouser Mecha-Catbot](https://battlebots.fandom.com/wiki/Mouser_Mecha-Catbot) and later became a judge for Battlebots. Adam Savage of course part of the famous [Team Blendo](https://battlebots.fandom.com/wiki/Blendo), the bot best known for requiring the battlebox to install a roof. RIP Imahara, you legend.
Skillful diving and great entertainment from Matt Olson and Gary Gin
A tough to find fight from the 2022 Battlebots Champions Series
How does this community feels about seeing content posted from other robot combat leagues? Is there any interest in clips from NHRL, GSCRL, MRCA (ant/beetle weight leagues) or King of Bots and international heavyweight leagues? I've seen some pretty entertaining beetleweight matches but I've been hesitant to post here as it's not _technically_ battlebots. There's not much direction in the sidebar regarding this, and if the community's expectation is to keep this place focused on strictly BB I will of course respect that. I expect BB will dominate this comm when the next season airs, but until then, maybe these leagues can fill as off-season content?
An explosive battle between Alex Hattori and Jamison Go
My vote is Spot with it's Massachusetts state police configuration
I'm super excited to see them compete. The Gluten Free team revolutionized FTC robotics with their autonomous, I hope they can do the same for battlebots!
I feel like a design has to evolve to survive at the different levels, but have you thought of a design that you think would stand out in the pros? Weapon design, wheel design, armor, go wild!
A perspective of people who aren't big into battle robots
Here are some robot combat events if you want to find one that's nearby. I haven't gone to a competition yet, but I'd love to!
I realize there's pretty much no one here at the moment, but I figure if we want to grow a community here we should start some discussions! So what is everyone's favorite bot? Personally I'm a fan of big horizontals so I love Bloodsport, but I love Tantrum and Blip and their teams, they seem really fun. Also a big fan of Black Dragon, Ribbot, and Valkyrie before this past season when the team really didn't seem to have it together.
I love the titanium sparks flying everywhere! Does anyone else have suggestions for other desktop background pictures to use? Just pulling from the show usually doesn't look quite right
I just started the 2016 series and was wondering if anyone made this community already. Glad to see it
Lost my link to the fight cards gallery and the subreddit I got it from is protesting, so I'll come back and add fight cards later if the subreddit comes back.
I hope it's cool that I'm posting these here!
