The passport picture of the EDC that the IOF released wasn't even Sinwar's passport. It was an expired passport of someone who used to work for UNWRA, and the spouse of the expired passport holder denounced it on twitter as an attempt by the IOF to tie UNRWA to Hamas. Also, the idea that the Hamas head would have to pay to exit gaza is also comical. He's simultaneously a billionaire and only has pocket change on him to hurredly try to leave. Pick one.

I got a new job at my college recently and I'm basically a glorified chore runner, and I love it. The pay is pretty shit and I'd probably make more working in a kitchen, but tbh, I'm literally typing this as I'm "on the clock", and I get to spend like 90% of the time doing my class work. That's all, that's the announcement. Hope everyone is doing well. Edit: The wosrt part of this job are the senior workers who feel the need to tell me to get off of my phone. Just now, someone told me to get off of my phone and when I got off of it they were like "haha, i'm just joking!" Like stfu bro, all passive aggressive for no reason smh...the most strenuous thing I've done today was go to the mail-room. If it's not coming out of your pocket then stfu!!!

It's a joke about the Fed handbook about disrupting leftist organizing spaces with endless debate. If you're asking me for my actual opinion, I don't think organizational decisions should be deferred based on "whose the most oppressed", especially when there is no class analysis. It sounds comical, but there are "organizing spaces" where your ability to provide input is based on characteristics like "are you a colonizer?", "are you a man?", "are you bipoc", and so on.

I think just starting with a walk around your neighborhood would do wonders for you. Whenever I haven't exercised in hot minute, I go for a 30 minute walk and I realize how better I feel after. An easier bar of entry in terms of capacity, and also mentally as well.

This seems like such a silly write up, but I'm noticing that it's not as easy for me to complete a task unless I'm at the absolute limit of time to where it needs to get done. For example, I needed to study for an exam over the course of a week...I just started today, and the exam is tomorrow 💀. I have 4 chapters to read to and just finished the 1st :'). On one hand, I think having that kind of sense of urgency is good when you're dealing with an "emergency", but like...its not really ideal to constantly be in "emergency" mode. I had met this lady a few weeks ago who did numerology sessions on the side of her regular job. She had offered me a session at the time and I had refused. Little known fact, but the "Uncle Tom" character is based on a real man named Josiah Henson! Josiah Henson was a former slave who escaped to Canada (900 Miles of walking!), acquired some land, and started a school and community for other escaped slaves. The institue was called the British American Institute for Fugitive Slaves! He taught himself to read and write later on in his life, and he did narrate his book called "The Life of Josiah Henson: Formerly a Slave". Why did Uncle Tom sorta became associated with being a docile sellout? Well, if i had to guess, Harriet Beecher Stowe (white woman) who wrote about Mr. Henson probably did so/ was forced to write him in that light to attract a more...white audience. I guess the idea of an emancipated black former slave who was intelligent wasn't all too marketable then. Hell, the book supposedly outsold the bible when it dropped.

I was recently reading about the Young Lords and their hospital occupation in one of the PSL's publications! I thought this was a pretty cool instance of occupations succeeding and being popular (at least in the sense of mass support). They occupied a Bronx hospital and were able to get the government to come to the negotiation table. They also staged trash burnings across the city to protest inadequate sanitation. I don't know how they are these days, but I thought it was a cool instance of afrolatin history :). One of the videos is from Democracy Now so bear with me...
